Art glass nail files are back, including new Happy Paws files for dogs. How could we resist matching nail files for Fido? Happy Paws are a safe grooming tool with no risk of cutting tissue or damaging paws. Use it on dogs up to 200 lbs. ; help puppies overcome foot shyness.

For people, medium files ($18) are great for every day use while small files ($15) are perfect for pocket and purse. Files come in a black velvet sheath with a one-of-a-kind fused glass bead on the end for easier handling of the file. Handmade in USA.

Feb. 4 – Chalk for Charity Art Festival

ImageBrooke Pottery is happy to sponsor artist and shop employee Grace McMullen in the Chalk for Charity art festival today in downtown Lakeland.  Early this morning artists began transforming Lemon Street into an outdoor art exhibit using tempera paint and chalk.  The monies raised from this year’s event will go to fund Lakeland Knights of Columbus Global Wheelchair Mission and The Lakeland Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association which supports police academy scholarships and projects of the Lakeland Police Department. The global Wheelchair Mission provides wheelchairs to those in need around the world and since 2003 over 20,000 wheelchairs have been donated. Stay tuned on facebook and twitter for more photos as the day progresses, or better yet, come downtown and see for yourself. It’s a gorgeous day!
